An accolade endorsing the new fleet of aircraft

Sultanate’s fastest-growing value-for-money airline, SalamAir was awarded “Asia’s youngest aircraft fleet” for the year 2021 by Ch-Aviation, Switzerland.

Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of SalamAir said we are extremely happy to have been recognized for our youngest feet of Airbus 320neo’s on a global level. This only further establishes our presence on an international level and our continued commitment to providing our customers a best-in-class flying experience while achieving operational excellence. The current SalamAir fleet of six Airbus 320neo aircraft is equipped with the latest technologies, efficient engines which boast operational excellence, customized interior with easy-clean leather seats for effective hygiene, the HEPA air filtration system, the improved cabin space for greater comfort to name a few.

This accolade stands true to the airline's vision to equip the organization with the most technologically advanced infrastructure be it from an operational perspective such as aircraft, maintenance, training, and safety, or from a commercial perspective such as the recently revamped website, booking engine, and state of art mobile app.

Furthermore, SalamAir is expected to receive its first Airbus 321 aircraft to its existing fleet this summer. In addition to being yet another milestone, it speaks to SalamAir’s commitment to its growth and expansion plans as well as its promise to provide its customers a convenient and comfortable flying experience from the very first touchpoint to the end of the journey.

SalamAir currently operates 6 Airbus A320Neo aircraft making it the first Omani carrier to utilize the highly rated single-aisle aircraft. SalamAir flies to domestic destinations including Muscat, Salalah, and international destinations to Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Shiraz, Istanbul, Alexandria, Khartoum, Multan, Sialkot, Karachi, Dhaka, Chattogram, Calicut, Jaipur, Trivandrum, and Lucknow.
