SalamAir, Oman’s Low-Cost Carrier, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Air Promotion Group (APG) Distribution Systems (DS) to manage its Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) coordination services.

This partnership represents an important milestone in SalamAir’s continued efforts to enhance its global distribution network and optimize financial settlement operations. Through APG DS’s extensive international presence and proven industry expertise, SalamAir will increase its accessibility and performance across key BSP markets, ensuring streamlined processes, operational efficiency, and robust financial governance.

As part of its long-term distribution strategy, SalamAir is focused on expanding its reach within Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to strengthen its engagement with the global travel trade. This collaboration with APG will enhance the airline’s visibility in core markets, improve coordination with travel partners, and support a more effective sales ecosystem across its international markets.

Steven Allen, Chief Commercial Officer at SalamAir, commented: “This partnership expands SalamAir’s global reach and makes our low fares and value proposition more accessible to travel agencies worldwide. It directly supports our vision to grow our footprint, enhance international connectivity, and create new opportunities for trade, travel, and tourism—strengthening our role in Oman’s economic growth.”

Emilie Biggerstaff, Director of APG DS, stated: “We're proud to partner with SalamAir to strengthen their global distribution strategy and unlock new growth opportunities.  Together, we're focused on delivering smarter, data-driven solutions that will elevate their worldwide sales performance and support their long-term success.”

As SalamAir continues to expand its network across the Middle East, South Asia, and East Africa, the airline remains committed to connecting more passengers through its affordable and reliable low-cost model. The partnership with APG Distribution Services underscores SalamAir’s ongoing commitment to expanding accessibility, improving distribution reach, and serving a growing international customer base.
