SalamAir Announces tie-up with Tune Protect for Travel Insurance

Sultanate’s fastest-growing value-for-money airline, SalamAir has announced a strategic tie-up with Tune Protect Commercial Brokerage LLC (“Tune Protect EMEIA”), to offer an array of travel protection benefits for its passengers. The agreement encompasses travel protection for travel-related uncertainty of the airline’s domestic and international passengers.

The travel protection products offered are specially designed for SalamAir travellers. - The travel protection program provides travellers with a host of benefits such as overseas medical expenses, travel cancellation, missed departure, baggage delays, travel delay, emergency medical evacuation, repatriation, personal accident and many more.

SalamAir currently operates three Airbus A320 aircraft and five Airbus A320Neo aircraft making it the first Omani carrier to utilise the highly rated single aisle aircraft. SalamAir flies to Domestic destinations including Muscat, Salalah, Suhar and International destinations to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Tehran, Shiraz, Istanbul, Alexandria, Khartoum, Multan, Sialkot, Karachi, Dhaka, Chattogram, Kathmandu, Colombo and Phuket. Additional passenger services to compliment the customer experience on the home-grown airline include options for extra luggage, seat and meal selection.
