SalamAir, Oman’s Low-Cost carrier, has commenced today operations to Mogadishu, Somalia, introducing a new direct air link between the capitals of Oman and Somalia. 

Operating twice weekly, the new route brings Muscat and Mogadishu closer, with one-way fares starting from OMR 79.99. The service offers travellers a practical and affordable option while providing convenient onward connections through Muscat to selected destinations across the Middle East and Asia. It also establishes an important trade corridor, supporting business travel, commercial exchange, and stronger business-to-business engagement between Oman and Somalia.  

As Somalia’s capital and main commercial centre, Mogadishu plays an important role in East Africa. Its addition to SalamAir’s network creates a new travel corridor with the potential to support business activity, family travel and stronger trade ties between Oman and Somalia.

The introduction of Mogadishu builds on SalamAir's expanding operations across Africa and reflects the airline's continued commitment to developing underserved routes that connect Oman with high-potential regional markets.
