SalamAir Introducing its 4th Summer Destination Sarajevo

SalamAir to fly between Muscat and Sarajevo from 12th July 2021.

New route to operate once a week to Sarajevo.

MUSCAT: Spreading its wings to Western Europe, Sultanate’s fastest-growing value-for-money airline, SalamAir, has announced direct flights from Muscat to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo is one of the world’s emerging tourist destinations with an East meets West modern culture and is also designated as a UNESCO Creative City. With the launch of direct services to Sarajevo, SalamAir has introduced its fourth summer destination for 2021 giving its passengers from the Sultanate of Oman an additional choice apart from its three other summer destinations announced as Istanbul, Trabzon, and Shiraz.

Scheduled to commence from July 12, 2021, the new link will initially operate once a week to Sarajevo on Monday, departing Muscat at 16:15 local time and arriving in Sarajevo at 20:25 local time. The flight will depart Sarajevo at 21:10 local time arriving in Muscat at 05:10 local time.

SalamAir currently operates 6 brand new Airbus A320Neo aircraft making it the first Omani carrier to utilize the highly rated single-aisle aircraft. SalamAir flies to domestic destinations including Muscat, Salalah, and international destinations to Dubai, Doha, Shiraz, Istanbul, Alexandria, Khartoum, Multan, Sialkot, Karachi, Dhaka, Chattogram, Calicut, Jaipur, Trivandrum, and Lucknow.
